Elena Braida is an Italian multi-disciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. Originally from Udine, Italy, she moved to the Netherlands in order to pursue her BA degree in Art&Design with specialisation in Textile from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Her practice aims to resonate with cooking rituals and with the notion of conviviality. In 2020 in order to channel her researches and products she opened a textile design & research studio under the name of STUDIO BONOMIA. Besides that she works as a free-lancer writer and cook.
